I'm meeting up with my partner in Denpasar in mid March 2012, for a 12 night break. We're both Advanced PADIs though neither of us is particularly experienced (she's 15 dives, I've 50).
I've looked at Gili's, and whilst some of the footage looks great, I've been reading about the coral not being up to much these days, due to dynamite fishing. Have also heard mixed reports about Kuta Bay (and in particular it's dive schools/equipment), so that's not jumping out at me.
Flores on the other hand, sounds great so I'm hoping someone could suggest where to stay on-land, as neither of us want to do a Liveaboard?
