Be careful... maintaining your depth in blue water with no references is tricky sometimes.

Much less in a bait ball. It's very possible to descend/ascent with the bait ball if all you see is the inside of the bait ball.

Jim got back to me and said he's interested and just wanted to know what our group would like to do.

Man, wish I was still working on the boat. I'd love to see that excursion.

Unfortunately, Jim said he wouldn't be able to accommodate this kind of dive, and there doesn't appear to be anyone else that does this. I guess it's down to San Diego for this.
