Planning a trip down there in October, and calling on the wonderful people of SB for advice....

Thinking of taking my boat down there? Road conditions, dirt roads, where to stay, where to dive info will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I can comment on the road: very narrow with little to no shoulder. lots of folks trailer down there. so, it can be done. I definately would plan on driving in the daylight hours.
I hear they get lots of whale sharks down there in the early fall.
Enjoy!

Just came back from there yesterday (flew) but talked with a San Diego family from the Spring Valley area that were leaving to drive back yesterday. They had spent a week down there and they said it had taken them 8 hours to drive with no tow.
