Hey, I am not really what you would call a tec diver, although I hope to move into that arena to some degree at some time in the future. I have been reading on the board and I always hear someone talking about deploying a bag and I was wondering what kind of situations would call for this as well as what this does for the diver? Just wondering, thanks.

Lift bag will help you maintain your depth during deco stops.
Make a great visual surface marker for the charter boat to locate you.
If you can get back to the up line on a wreck you could deployed from a fixed
structure of the wreck and not drift in the current.
Can also be used as a back up buoyancy.

It can also be used to lift things of the bottum, notify the boat that your of the wreck and drifting, provide visual deco refference, and is just plain fun to shoot to the surface
