I disagree with thy nay-sayers on air integration. I have a gallileo luna and really like it. I still have a full console firmly clipped to my harness so it can't dangle or drag. If I need it its there, just not as easy to access as one on a retractor. This gives me full backup including compass. Having said that, my luna has not ever let me down.
 
I haven't got much to add, that hasn't already been said. Another vote for the brass & glass SPG, 24" hose, cave-knotted to a SS bolt-snap.

Recreational divers need a single SPG. Redundancy isn't necessary in the open-water environment. You dive with a reserve, you abort if something fails.

If your faith in a gauge was so low that you felt the need to back it up, then you've obviously chosen the wrong kit...
