Does anybody know of a reliable website I can use to buy these ringnuts to attach to my backplate?

I found a couple of websites that may be legit, but both with unsecure connections.

Ring Nut - Set of 2

Not sure the price they "should" be, but John @ North East Scuba Supply has always had really good prices.

So this is a legit store even if it uses unsecure connections?
I mean, I can only give you my experience, and that's that I have ordered from and spoken to Mr. John on the phone and every order went well and I was happy. Great guy, loves diving.

Seeing as how your in FL, you might also check with Piranha Dive Manufacturer.

He's closer (if he has them). Shipping would be cheaper.

but both with unsecure connections.

If you can place your order over the phone that should not be an issue.

I wouldn't pay with my credit card on an unsecured website - its risky enough as it is.

I'm not sure of anywhere that doesn't allow PayPal at checkout. The website might not be secure, but PayPal is....or at least I hope it is.

I've never had an issue with either website though...

Both places have them and both places are excellent to deal with.
