If you are aiming for a light weight travel BP with the same design:

Standard AL BP + 3" holesaw = problem solved...

Not as cool as CF but sure to get some looks and discussion on the boat...

You could even add some slots to tie the now required weights (robbing from Peter to pay Paul...)
