Hi

I had a question about when I hang by backplate and wing to dry after washing with water (Fresh Water)

The wing in question is a Halcyon eclipse wing. Attached to the wing is a handle made of the same material as the wing.

Is it safe, or appropriate to hang the wind by this handle. The wing has a tank adaptor and harness strapped to it.

I am concerned that this may damage the wing and make unusable.

The time I am hanging the wing is for 1 Hour.

Thanks ahead of time.

I just use a clothes hangar, one of the wide ones, and hang it up by the webbing, as if the hangar were wearing it.

The handle is attached to the outer shell so should not be a problem. I would just use the harness its self and hang it on a BC hanger or another heavy duty type of hanger/pvc pipe?

BCD hangar as wayne mentioned. Or, if you're only hanging it for an hour or so... just buckle the waist strap around something and hang it from that. When I'm drying mine on the last day of a liveaboard trip I just attach it to the rail in this fashon
