Back to the Caymans - Again!

We've been diving for 30 years. Just recreational diving on vacation, mostly in the Caribbean and Bahamas and Florida, although we have done a few trips in the Pacific and one to the Red Sea.

We've been looking for a place to enjoy our next dive vacation in the fall and nothing seemed quite as appealing as going back to the Cayman Islands - so we've just booked our 6th trip to the Caymans! We will spend a week at the Turtle Nest Inn in Bodden Town on GC and then the second week will be at the Brac Reef Beach Resort on CB. Two very familiar and favorite spots!

It's going to be hard waiting all those months before we can leave for another lovely Caymanian vacation! I'm already thinking about dinner at Over the Edge!

Everything is booked, now we just have to start praying for good weather!

Oh no! We were in the Caymans just 2 years ago but we have been diving for 30 years. Our first trip to the Caymans was way back in 1988 but we have been back several times, staying on GC and Cayman Brac. We have never stayed on LC but dived the Bloody Bay off of the Aggressor. This will be our 6th trip to the Caymans and we are looking forward to going back!

Hey Kathy, you might be interested in the SpotCayman app for your iPhone or other cell. It's a great app full of lots of useful info.

Oh yeah, forgot….if you like Brac Reef Resort, you would LOVE Little Cayman Beach Resort. Amazing food and I find the diving a bit better than Brac, but that is just personal opinion.

Thanks, I will check out that app! We would love to go to LCBR but it was pretty much already booked-up for our dates this year. I think we will have to book earlier the next time if we want to get a spot. I have dived bloody bay wall off the aggressor and once on a day trip from Brac and it is amazingly beautiful! Thanks!

Ain't that the truth!

I say now there are three islands here; Little Cayman, Cayman Brac and Cayman Dart. It seems Dart owns half the island now.
