I have seen previous posts and comments in Undercurrent regarding theft from cars at shore dive sites, as well as some car damage I know this has been a problem for several years, but it is the problem increasing? Just how much of a problem is it?

I have been to Bonaire 4 times, never have we had a problem with things being stolen out of our car. Just use common sense and don't leave anything valuable in the car. Leave the doors unlocked and you will be fine. Lets face it, how many places can you go, leave your car unattended with valuables in side and not risk the chance of theft?
