though I'm not sure what the point is, current avg is 39.31 out of 141 divers sampled

so the average is higher here as compared to the 36 yrs old stated by the person who started this thread.

Wow, thanks for counting, looks like this is a done deal and the average age of a scuba diver is now about 39. Thanks guys for contributing and finding out an average for us scuba divers. There probably wasnt no point, just an interest and curiosity, also a good census for dive companies. Thanks!
