Avatar Assistance Please!

I'm trying to change my avatar. I've created a .jpg file that is only 12.5 KB in size, but for some unknown reason, when I try to load it, I get an error message: Upload of file failed.

Any suggestions? (I tried looking through previous threads but couldn't find an answer.)

I'm getting upload failures on pictures in threads too - maybe a switch got flipped off by accident?

96 X 86 px, with a res. of 72

But I noticed in the avatar section of the User CP that it says 100 X 100 px OR 25 KB... whichever is smaller, which is why I find this all very vexing... I'm covered on both fronts!

Sea Yoda, maybe you need to empty your browser's cache?

We will need to wait for Tech Admin on this one. I just tried to upload a different Avatar picture for you from the Admin CP and had the same upload failure.
