Avanti Quattro Excel+ or Avanti Superchannel ABS Plus for a woman

Hi.

I am looking to buy my own fins and have been looking at Mares Avanti Quattro Excel+ or Avanti Superchannel ABS Plus (both open heel). As I understand it the Excel+ is more stiff than the Superchannel and is wondering if it will be to stiff when I am a woman.

If it helps I am about 1.60 m weighs around 53 kg and only dive in warm water. The lenght and weight of the fins will also play a part in my choice since I have to bring them on flights.

Does anyone have any recommendations and/or experience with these fins?

I don't think you would have any problems with the Excel+, I think you would be happy with either of these fins. My wife has used the Avanti Quattros and liked them and did not have any issues with the stiffness. I would pick on fit and confort first and then I think your comment on weight is a valid reason for picking on or the other given you will be using these as travel fins.
