Nitrous Oxide helps make power by acting as an oxiginator to provide more oxygen necessary to burn more fuel.

The Nitrogen & Oxygen molecules are split apart during combustion.

Anyone know what would happen if Nitrox was used? EAN 33 would be the same mix as N2O, it's just already split apart.

N2O fills usually run $20-$30 for a 900psi 10lb bottle. Filling that same bottle with Nitrox would be a huge savings.

Only problem I can see is that since the higher concentration of O2 is available immediately it might lead to preignition. I'm not willing to test it out. :D

Also, wouldn't have the same cooling effect since theres no state change to take place.

I'm real sure this is a bad idea...not to mention that it probably won't work since EAN is already a gas...it doesn't take much to ignite a gas.

N2O is also a gas once it leaves the presurized bottle.
