Australian seeking internship

Gday board,

biology student with open waters and current dive medical/first aid looking for a DM internship on the cheap

have one semi-secured already for november, but coming bad weather may stand in the way

anyone got any ideas for good alternatives ?

Two places in FNQ I can think of are Yongala Dive and Down Under Dive, in Ayr and Cairns respectively. Yongala dive is very remote but would offer a more rounded experience of the role and industry. However you would be expected to drive and if you aren't 25+ would be expected to pay a massive excess for insurance purposes.
