Thanks Yea I felt so bad for him, it was not comfortable on the surface. I kept telling myself "look at the horizon! look at the horizon!" Neither of us took seasickness meds as the boat ride was only 5mins, but we had to wait for a long time on the surface whilst they waited for slackwater and put down the shot line Will know for next time.

I think I might need more than a year to catch up with you fish Try as I might I won't get in 350 dives in a year!

Better late than never!

Our planned trip to dive at various locations on the north and south coast of New South Wales while visiting my father on the east coast of Australia didn't pan out very well. Heavy rain and huge seas for most of our time over east stopped any diving in the open ocean and severe flooding on the north coast prevented us from getting to our two main destinations and turned the water there a very nasty shade of brown. As a result our planned overnight stay in Nelson Bay ended up being five nights and we managed to get three dives in Nelson Bay during the last week of May. The water was very dirty due to the heavy rains so it was time to get up close and personal and I only used my Canon 100 macro lens with a Canon 500D close up lens on the front. Here's a few of my favourite shots:
