Well I have been told off by fish for posting my dive from *this* week in *last* week's thread so here is a new one for the new diving week :rofl3:

Anyway, as I said before I got out for only one dive today. So yes I guess that makes me a 'wuss' :shocked2: :rofl3: It was *two hours* long though. Quality over quantity I say! Planning a night dive for Wednesday night too :)

Anybody else?

Well you should just slap the fish for being so forward..... :dork2: imagine that:shakehead:
We have the Frogdive Christmas Dive tomorrow. I wonder how many people I will manage to convince to wear the festive headgear this year:eyebrow: I will send some pics.

Hmm ... guess I will have to be more careful what I say if you consider that being told off ... :coffee:

:rofl3::rofl3:

Have fun at the Christmas dives guys!

Don't think the conditions will allow a dive at Kurnel predicting 2 -3 m swell straight into the dive site. Don't relish getting in there... alternate plans in place. Kurnel is pretty conditions dependent. All the rain probably make the grass and picinic area awful wet and muddy too:shakehead:

repeat post... not sure how I did that... anyway a visit to the pygmies and anglerfish may be in order .... maybe try to find the tiny weedy...

Speaking of anglerfish, I spent the whole dive today trying to find a tassled one, but no luck! I will have to start asking other divers where they can be, as a few people constantly post pictures of them at the dive site I was at today. I am getting jealous! It is one of the few things left on my 'to find' list. :)

Bad weather and some badly needed boat trailer maintenance has kept us out of the water for a few weeks. With the trailer all fixed and perfect weather we had two great dives today. I'm still going through my shots but it seems everything is trying to breed up here on Ningaloo:

:shocked2: The Nemos are so cute! :)

Well I guess it doesn't really count as diving but we did our pool work for our naviagation and search and recovery. I have never been in a 6m pool before so that was interesting. We also all had gear trouble. Hubby's BC wouldn't stop inflating so that had to be disconnected. DI had the same issue and had a free flowing reg and my regs mouthpiece was bitten through and i couldn't keep it in my mouth, had to use my alternate. It was all rental gear (I don't like using my own gear in the clorine if I can help it and if we pay for gear with our course we may as well use it), The good thing was no one paniced and we learnt how to deal with all these issues u/w. At one stage my reg came loose while I was breathing in and I breathed in water instead. Made me cough a lot but no problem, I just held my reg in place while I coughed. I have to day kudos to our Dive Instructor Pete, who has the most calming nature that I didn't even consider panicing or being worried about what was going on and just delt with things one step at a time.
