Aussie Diving 21st-27th November

A new week of diving Anybody getting out?

I had the day off work today so got to go out for some dives, conditions were awesome with 15m of viz and also very calm underneath. Mainly people on board wanting to catch crays. Me and Paul saw a heap of them under a ledge so took some photos Going back tomorrow to the same spot so I hope my new lobster friends are still there for photos, everyone seems to be out after them! :shocked2:

We then did two pier dives at Portsea around the Pier. Were going to do another pier but didn't have time as Paul is flying tomorrow. The last one was my 100th dive Saw lots of schooling puffers, heaps of weedies, a BIG Maori octopus again (I took a video this time ) and miscellaneous fish. Paul is off on holidays to NZ tomorrow so won't get pictures for a bit I imagine.

Out again tomorrow for some club dives Then will sleep ALL Sunday as I will be so tired from all the diving

6pm and im still in the office....

hubby wants to go diving but i dont think it will be worth it out there... looking for some incentive becasue i'll rather come into the office and work for a few hours to be honest

Congrats on 100 SAS ... 4 SHORE dives a day now that is just plain ridiculous ... oh to have the energy of the young.


AW ... rather go to work than dive ... I am calling the ambulance for you ... you must be ill


We have the car packed for tomorrow ... it should be OK ... not great but acceptable.


BTW ... I logged my 500th last week with bygolly and Acanthrus ... and no there is no way I would do it naked.

no kidding.... THAT would scare the fish! I'd never get any decent shots that way

I don't think I'll be in the water this weekend. Wrenched my shoulder and I should rest it. Besides; it's gonna blow tomorrow and blow more Sunday

Looks like it is going to be terrible weather tomorrow... have not heard anything about cancellations though. Pity today's conditions won't hold

:blinking:The resident green moray with the dental problem. I am sure I got shots of this fellow a couple years ago with a fish hook in his mouth wasn't sure he'd survive as I wasn't sure it would be able to eat. I must say today he didn't look very well.... he is normally a nice strong green... today looked a bit pale and more yellow brown to the naked eye.
