Nice dive in the Savannah River today. Vis was only 6-7' (gets up to 15' in the summer in periods of low rain). Water temps are warming (65 degrees today). Lots of fish life, turtles and history in the "Big Drift" as we call it. Shipwreck in 19', old Hamburg bridge remains, Hamburg cotton docks from the 1800s remain (they just cut the posts off about 3-4' underwater, the rock base and lower part of the posts remain - fish life here - and runs over a mile of river). On the GA side are trees and large boulders in the water (mo' fish life). Depths are shallow (20' or so). Short dive today, only 2:06
. We are doing it again tomorrow at 1p.
