Cloudy, occasional misty rain, 49 degree air temps - of course we have to go diving.

Two of us dove East Clark Hill Dam today. We were in 7mm westuits (mine is the Xcel 7/6/5 with hooded vest) and steel 80's. Vis was 10' and water temp was between 49 - 52 degrees. We started our dive with a descent to the three big rocks (today at 49') and turned northeast and angled up to the pool filters and 40' ledge. We dropped down to the angel statue and continued north through the trench (could see both sides today). Exiting to the right of the trench we swam through the forest and dropped downward to the 100' wall. We turned on our lights about 85' or so. We turned south and dove the 100' wall and continued upward to the 80' wall (no lights needed here), We swam along the 80' wall past the dive flag and onward to the missle at 77' today. We angled upward to the three big rocks and then turned south to the plane, the bouyancy course and the ski boat. We then swam west along the dam rocks until down to 850 psi. We then swam up the rocks to 15' and swam east to shore (10 min safety stop). Dive was to 97' for 1:05. As I said, nice day for a dive....
