While I was working at Seacamp a couple years back there was a large sharksucker in our shark pond. We had to trap it and remove it 'cuz it was giving all the snorkelers hickies.

I have been approached by a remora more than once. My question is: If they do attach themselves to you, what is the worst that will happen? I heard its a bit like a hickey (but wouldn't want to have to explain a hickey looking mark on the inside of my upper thigh to non divers... LOL)..the Reef ID book says they will let go fairly easily if you push them from the back...
