Well they're still looking at it but so far my LDS doesn't see anything wrong with my new sealed B-2 that had the mother of all free flows this past Sunday in 37 degree water (which was warmer than I had been diving with my old Aqua Lung Titan). I guess I'll just keep testing it in shallow water and simply hope it doesn't happen again but now I'll lack trust in it at depth. It's a bummer to spend relatively serious $$ on a supposed higher-end reg and now have zero faith in its reliability. I don't mind shallow beach dives, but I do also like deeper boat dives in the 100+ft range. Feels risky to try those with the Atomic. Maybe I'll go back to my old Titan for the deeper dives and relegate the Atomic to the sissy shallow dives. Any advice appreciated and if not, at least it's been fun free-flowing my frustration!

Call Atomic and talk to them about it, see what they say. Chances are they'll give you a return authorization number to have the reg sent back to them for examination.
