I have an Atmos ai that is around 4 years old. The back light is no longer working. Any suggestions?????

Note: Around a year ago, the battery exploded in the computer on a 90' dive and the computer went dead. I now keep a SPG on a qucik connect and use on deep dives. Could this have caused issues with the back light?

One more question. Is it possible to update the firmware using the download cable????

No, you have to send it back to Aeris to have the firmware updated. I think the T3 is the first Aeris to allow firmware to be updated without sending it back to the factory.
