Correct. The "time to fly" is simply a dumb 24 hour countdown that starts when surfacing from any dive, no matter how shallow or short.Swampdogg:I am going to assume from that, that nitrogen loading is not figured into any "time to fly" calculations.
There is a desaturation countdown, though, which is an indicator of offgassing. It's not very well documented in the manual as to what exactly it indicates though. If the desat countdown is the same as on my Oceanic Data Plus 2 (a good bet since they seem to have the same core software) the desat time will usually be less than 24 hours, except when doing multiple dives near NDLs. Sometimes on a dive trip I've seen desat times up around 30 hours, but only when I've been doing 4 long dives per day.
