The Greater Omaha SCUBA Club is having a dive event at the Atlantic Quarry.
Date: Sunday, September 12
Place: Atlantic Quarry, Atlantic, IA
Time: 9:00AM
There will be a grill available and a canopy for shade. Bring a tarp for your dive gear, a lawn chair, a cooler with food/beverages, and all your dive gear including tank(s) and weights.
Water temps are dropping at the quarry. As of 9/6/10, the water temp was 72 degrees with the 1st thermocline at 26 ft. where the temp drops to 62 degrees. One group of divers had a turtle sighting. Unfortunately not me.
The bluegill are still out in force. Hope you see you on September 12!
