I use this housing exclusively. I only now added an ikelite pro V-8 light to it and will be checking it out next week on Key Largo. Search Youtube for 'MqrPDDvNJPI' for a clip I shot in St. Thomas using this setup.

I find the housing very easy to use, and the camera produces great HD video. I also recommend the DCL-20 wide angle lens that Epoque makes, it's very sharp and makes the rig a bit heavier and easier to handle.

Hello DavisNYC. Nice video. I have the Sanyo FH1, which is the horizontal equivalent of the HD2000. It works great topside, so I'm interested to see more underwater footage from the HD2000.

I assume you live in New York City. There is a dive group that meets once a month at the Arctica Bar to show underwater pictures/videos, eat, drink and socialize. We are meeting this coming Tuesday, Feb 2nd.

It's a nice group. Everyone is pretty friendly. Some people show their work, but many don't and just come to watch and socialize.

Here is a link to their website describing February's meeting topic, if you are interested.

Thank you share the expirence and video.
The shop give a offer for follow stuff.
'Epoque EHS-1000HD + Epoque DCL-20 67mm + Wide Lens Red Lens 90mm + Epoque Clog Shoe Flex Arm'
If as you expirence Shall I ignore the 'Red lens' and 'clog shoe'?
When u use manual white balance, what Reference you shot ? sand or should bring a white pad?

Cuimic I don't know where you are planning to dive - but in tropical water I found no need to use a filter at all. I just white balanced against my hand held in front of the lens which I found gave good colours and meant I didn't have to carry a slate. Also being an easy method it I was able to do so frequently each time I changed depth.

I guess whether to get the clog or not depends on whether you want to try and use it at night with a light or not. Personally I mounted my hosing on a base plate with two arms which meant is was easier to hold steady - it also meant I could mount a lens holder on one arm to hold the WA lens when I wasn't using it.
