this guy is a classic case of why you should seriously consider peeing in your wetsuit...

from the looks of this guy I'd say he runs on batteries. If the batteries die, safety divers will just wind him up. The winding mechanism is of course in the diver's back.

And maybe one of the sidemounts is a portalet and pee container. Ask NASA...
