Dove JADS from Hidcurarie pier. They held up to their reputation. Professional. Safe. Very enjoyable dives. They let us hang until the weakest link ran out of air.

Dove with Red Sail. They depart from the Hyatt pier - so very convenient if one is staying in the high rise hotel area. Heterogeneous group of divers. Two different DMs but both were good in their own ways. West coast - 45 min dives. South dive sites - until the weakest link was low on air.
Airplanes and Antilla WWII wreck dove sites were pretty good.
I would dive with both again.

Palm beach divers - were very good at responding to communications but didn’t have openings On the days I was available.

Pure Diving Aruba - were also very good at communication and do some interesting courses including Solo cert. I did not get a chance to dive with them.

Happy Divers also have good reputation. A lot smaller boat, but they are open and running. Also operate out of high rise hotel area.

Ended up diving with Palm Beach Divers as well. Solid crew. Will be comfortable diving with them in the future as well.
Also found out that JADS will do hotel pick up from high rise area as well. So there are a bunch of options as far as operators. Most of them I think have reopened by now but their business is still slow. Boats were operating at <50% capacity at least on the dives I took.

Bummer that Dive Aruba is closed. Clive was great.

Any thoughts on Aruba fly and dive ?
I dove with them several years ago and had a great time. But This was pre
Covid, and I heard they changed ownership. What about Mermaids?
Any opinions on them. I will be there the first week of August.taking two new divers. Staying at Divi Dutch village.

I’ve dove with JADS and Aqua Windie’s and both were great and I would book/use/recommend either again today. I have a friend who only dives with Jeffrey at Happy Divers and he is also very happy with them. My shore dives were guided but were in the 85–100 minute range versus the standard 60+/- range done from boats.

Thinking about going back for Christmas ourselves!

I say go with Jads, they were great to deal with. They let the dives go to an hour and escort people up who go through air faster while you poke around until DM returns.

I'm in Aruba now and just finished up 4 great days of diving with Jads - definitely can't go wrong with them (my 7th trip diving with them)!
