aruba? great small dive operation?

Any recommendations for a good hotel/resort with a great dive operation? Looking for boats that do not take out 20 plus people at a time. Also, a great house reef in front for the snorkelers. Not interested in a casino at all.

I don't think there are any "house reefs" on Aruba. I dive with Clive at Dive Aruba when I am in Aruba.

I like Romeo Croes at Native Divers. He has a tent between the Marriott Ocean Club and the Marriott Surf club. He usually takes out 6 or less divers. There is a great snorkel reef about a mile for the Marriott properties. For the life of me, I can not remember the name but it is around Malmok. All the snorkel boats tie up there.

You're talking about Boca Catalina(~ 1/2 mile after the left turn toward Cali Lighthouse), one of my absolute favorites. Unfortunately has become very crowded in recent years, last Aug I counted up to five Cats(anywhere from 15-30 'snorkelers' each) around 3, 3:30 PM. Still well worth it, best to go on weekdays, Noon or late afternoon(good chance to see Chain-, Spotted Moray, Spotted Eel, and Octopus).
