I'm sure I saw at least 2 or 3 of those at Keystone yesterday. I thought to myself I haven't seen that type before. Not sure if they are common there or not.

They're very common in the Victoria area, often in large schools.
That's a good story - local extinction in the 90's explains why some guide books mention black rockfish at sites around Vancouver but there are none now. Great to know there's a potential for that to change!
