A great man! I got to meet him in 1994 when on a tour of DAN and asked about oxygen accelerated deco stops when diving. A quick phone call was made by our tour guide, and Dr. Vann left his research to spend almost an hour with us to let us know about his research on the subject and give us some sage advice on how to stay safe! Congratulations!

I did some work with him about 6-7 years ago and was certainly impressed with his knowledge and devotion to the underwater world.
