Argon Mount Question

i just got one, but havent used it yet.. its all set upfor a d ring mount.. but i was eyeballin your set up.. i might try that

What is a D-Ring mount?
 
ive only seen pics (and not even good ones) of the dir setu on that bottle.. i never cared for it.... looked...i dunno.... but seing it in person...
got me thinkin....

It's shackled to the backplate. Probably the most common mounting scheme we see around here.
Next question...Do I want to know?
 
Dived the mounted bottle last night (mine is a 13). Very nice. No problem donning the rig, and the bottle is tucked so perfectly into the slip stream that I didn't even notice it was there. I noticed it when I clipped off mt SPG or vented the rear dump, but that's it.

And now I am absolutely convinced that argon really does keep you warmer. Water temp has dropped 2 degrees down to 39F and I was able to make the entire dive without my hands getting cold for the first time in about 8 dives.
