hello
thank you for reading this

we want to go o Argentina for 3 months
who can tel me were to dive
and the conditions
water temps
skils needed
etc

or hop over to Chili or Uruguay for the diving part ?

thanks for all your advice

I know there are few operators in Argertina at Puerto Madryn and Ushuaia
not much to see there, a lot of cold water (7mm minum, better dry one)

I never heard about Chile and Uruguay although once I saw a bcd left to dry at Punta del Este.
Both sides of South America there are very strong currents and the Ocean is nealy always roughed.

In Brasil diving is more common.

There's a great area to visit in the Andes called route of the 7 lakes -- road from el Bolson up to San Martin de los Andes - perhaps goes farther, not sure. Although known for hiking, rafting, etc. in summer and skiing in winter, there is diving in lakes at Bariloche (fairly big city) and in smaller lake at San Martin de los Andes. I did rescue class in the latter. Not great but beats staying out of the water!
