Our Arenui charter to Komodo and Alor August 6-19 was a great success and our photo pro on the trip, Liz Rogers, has posted a report and some photos on her website. There is also a short 5 minute video for your viewing pleasure.

Quote from Liz….

"The Arenui trip was amazing. I am drip feeding the photos out to Facebook as you may have seen, and I have a quick trip report up on my website here: Komodo on the Arenui | Liz Rogers Photography which includes the short video I made while there. I will do website posts for the next few weeks to cover off my favourite photos. I particularly enjoyed the manta dives, and the muck critters were very productive."

"I am frantically unpacking and repacking for my next trip, and on Sunday I will have time to dig out the photos of the lego man for you too. I think it went well, certainly I saw the group create some great photos and big improvements between photos at the start and the end. And everyone had fun!"

Are Jerry and Debbie no longer on the boat? They were the best cruise directors, ever.

I thought I saw Ronald, formerly of Critters at Lembeh on the video. Was that him? Ali and Toby still there, too? That would be quite the dive guide lineup.

Debbie and Jerry are still with the Arenui, but sharing time on the boat with Edu and Nic who were cruise directors for our trip. They did an amazing job including some hilarious dive briefings. I'm not sure if Ronald is the same Ronald, but he did mention he used to be at Lembeh. His critter spotting skills had him pointing out a small clown frogfish from 15m away, and lots of tiny things too. Here is a picture of about the tenth hairy shrimp he found for me. The others were both red and green varieties, but this one was purple and had eggs!
