so funny...i think i have actually used those to build a sand castle. we bought them at CVS! Too funny. I cannot believe what some people will pass off on others and that those people actually buy it!

Dumb question of the day...Who is Ron Popiel?

No. THESE are truer words. I sometimes wonder, during my religious Monday morning checks of StrongBad's email, whether there really is anyone else out there who looks at this crap.

Go Dumples!

He makes most of the gadgets you see sold on TV.

i have to stand up for myself and friends. although i wouldnt buy those tools, my girlfriends garden thingie works fine, they have a use for certain dives. the right tool for the right job. my buddies and i dig up bottles and old shell casings in a river near my house. not all dives are on a reef looking at fish. and yes, i own a dehydrater. most of my hunting buddies do. i had no idea i was so weird.

This thread really has shades of DIR thinking in it, ie one philoshophy for all dives, do it my way or you are just doing it wrong.

The point was mentioned, but it deserves full statement. Of course you don't want any disturbances to the bottom in a cave or reef system, but not all dives are recreational "looking at the fishies" dives. If you are searching for something in an already murky lake or a high flow river, what is the problem with digging? I suppose police looking for a murder weapon should wait for natural currents to uncover it rather than digging for it, right?

*insert sheer look of terror seeing these anywhere near a reef environment*

You want to go digging in the lake in your back yard have fun... :) ummm I ment ewww?
