My opinion? Nuke the suckers! :m16: :bigun2:

red dude with the M16 has what would be referred to
as a "poor firing position"

IMHO

LOL it's true - it looks that way. It's just that the red dude is bigger but further away. LOL ;)

I got a question for you. Are those annoying pop up windows with advertising, considered spam?

When I get an email and it looks like it is going to be an ad, I just hit a spam button and it is deleted. Then it is suppose to activate my email to eliminate the sender the next time.

But those pop down ads are something else. I could be typing an important letter and these things keep poping down. Sometimes it was so bad that I had to shut down my computer. Finally I had to pay money to some download called 'Jimmy Surf' in order to stop this invasion of garbage.

You probably have "spyware" in your computer, I suggest you download some freebies that will kill the stuff, like "ad-aware" & "spy sweeper".
Also, if you switch to a more secure browser, like Mozilla (or netscape) you have built in popup supression that catches most of the stuff, even the non-spyware based.

Most of the pop-unders you see are probably spyware. Go to download.com and get Ad-Aware, as Bob said.

You can also download the Google Toolbar, which rocks, and includes a very simple but effective popup blocker for IE. No need for a different browser ;)

I hate those pop-ups even more than SPAM!!! At least with SPAM you can just delete them. Mozilla has a nice built-in popup blocker but some sites actually use pop-ups legitimately which bites but what can you do...
The Google bar IS spyware!!! I know this is gonna sound strange but if you do a search on google for google bar spyware you'll see a bunch of links...
