I didn't see a "Guns are dangerous and shouldn't be kept by private citizens" or "Guns are dangerous and should only be issued in accordance with strict licensing requirements" options.

But if my experience of SB is anything to go by, anyone raising the gun issue is looking for a fight rather than a discussion.

Are you saying you support those views or just wondering why they are not on the poll?

Both. I suspect that rather than a poll, this a thread for bashing gun control. Hence the desire to push anyone with those sort of views into the "I believe the Government should take everyone's guns away" option.

I'll just lurk here and see if I am right.

I am always open for a discussion on gun control. So why do you believe the government should take everybody's guns away? What do you think that would achieve.

I'm not here to bash i just want to understand what the other side thinks.

Besides Rhone Man....how often do you see a POLL on ScubaBoard with all the right options? These are done on a whim typically and cannot be edited once posted.

:w-t-f:....anything can be edited by SB staff...just follow us for a bit and see for yourself . My point was once the OP - for you LB - posts the Poll, they can no longer make changes to the poll options.
