Are Transmitters Interchangeable

Can anyone confirm if the transmitters on oceanic computers are interchangeable. Specifically, would the transmitter from an atom1 be recognised by a VT3 and vice versa.

Yes, I have both those computers and the transmitters are recognized by each.

I know the transmitters for the Atom 2 and Datamask are interchangeable. I sometimes dive with both and run them off one transmitter.
