Yes, it was 11pm, it was about 13 degrees, and my wetsuit had been hanging in the breeze. It was FREEZING! There was no way I was goign to try and slip into a wetsuit that was wet and probably only about 10 degrees!

I was acting as a "support" diver for a charity event, they are trying to break the record for distance walked underwater, from the looks of it the last time I checked, they were going to smash the record - they were aiming for 100km in 48 hours, but they were about 4 or 5 hours ahead of schedule...
Yup, they have done it, 1 day and 22 hours..
Anyway, I was acting as support diver (along with a bunch of others) just helping to make sure all went well.
The 6 divers doing the actual walk did a great job!
