I mentioned the Sola because of it being 1200 which is enough for video. I do not use a Gopro under water indeed, only while sporting 
or on my bike.
To answer TS question: you don't need a light in the Red Sea, unless macro that the Gopro doesn't do. And a flashlight is useless for filming. Even more so, it spoils your video. But do take a red filter with you.
