I don't know. We bought a map. Who does Breezes get their cars from? We rented from Budget but didn't ask about a GPS.

Downtown Willemsted has two sides, Punda and Otrabunda. Breezes is SE in the Salina district on the Punda side. The airport is on the north coast on the Otrabunda side. The only way between Punda and Otrabunda in that area is the bridge - it's on a bluff "behind" downtown - it's tall, lighted - really you can't miss it. Is Breezes picking you up on arrival? When you leave the airport the first thing you'll go through is a rotary. That same rotary off to the west is the only road to Westpunt.

The main divided "highway" over the bridge is called Pres. Betancourt Blvd. on the Punda side. As you drive farther east it becomes ShottegatweigZuid. (gotta love Google Earth...) So take it back over the bridge to the rotary and west to Westpunt.

As you get into Wespunt look for the Lodge Kura Hulanda sign on the right. Parking for the diveshop is just past the lodge main entrance - IIRC by the tennis courts. All you'll see is the thatched roof, the dive shop itself is down a flight of rough stone stairs - another good reason to rent from them...LOL.

Should you want to boat dive, OEWest does Watamula on both days you're planning to dive. ..:: Ocean Encounters West Curacao - Schedule ::..

Since I was already in Google Earth, here are a couple views. Breezes is the Red A in the lower right corner, the Rotary is marked just below the Airport in the upper left corner. The 2nd image shows the main road from the Rotary to Playa Kalki in the far upper corner. You can also see where it splits about 1/2 way along - the south fork is the "scenic route"

great info guys. much appreciated. as you can see im overly excited about this trip and nrevous about missing the dives i really want to do. My wife, not so much. Her family's from Martinique so this is another island to her and looks at the diving asa side bonus while i look at it as one of the highlights. My camera is already packed and ready to go!

Would love to hear how it went when you get back. We're planning a group trip to Breezes for next May, and trying to get info on diving and Kids' Club. Hoping that Breezes isn't too far of a drive to most of the shore sites. We don't want to spend our whole trip driving around.
