I have a Data Plus that is 7-8 yrs old.
Use it and carry on every dive as a back up.
Has worked perfectly until now.
When I put batteries in it gives me a zillion scrolling numbers non stop.

Was going to take it to an Oceanic dealer but.................is it worth it? Are repairs so expensive that not worth even sending it?

time for a new computer..see if there are any trade in deals being run by the manufacturers where they credit you $ towards a new one when trading in your old one, working or not!

Call Oceanic... they'll tell you what it might cost to fix it, usually a flat rate or if it can't be fixed, they'll work with you on an upgraded replacement.

BTW, if you do decide to throw that Data + away, please let me know. I am looking for the battery cover as I have one that is slightly damaged.
