When people from Hawaii start whining about the "cold" weather:no we in the frozen north just have to laugh.

Haven't met "wildcard" yet. But I still don't understand why he is upset at the weather. It is warm (no snow, ice or shoveling), vis on the dives today was 150' plus, and the water temp was like 75 degrees ABOVE zero.

Of course since he is begging for something different as soon as I get home I'll run by North Pole and ask for something "Special" to be sent South, just for his benefit. LOL

Winter is my favorite time. Heading home to AK in a couple of weeks. Always liked the big isle best. If I needed a snow fix I could drive up the moutain and get it. More wind. The goo dnews is the sail boat is about ready to sail so im quite sure the wind will die this weekend.

Even though the weather wasn't my fault; oh that I could control it; I put in an order with Mother Nature to satisfy you.

You wanted less wind. She gave you less wind.
You wanted less rain. She gave you sunshine.
You wanted calmer seas. She gave you calmer, but not calm, seas.

If you want I'll try for some of my hometown weather; snow, ice and more snow and ice. But, others might object
