Does anyone know if there is a difference between aquaseal and the silicone sealant they sell at Lowes (besides price)?

Thanks :shades:

The Aquaseal is more of a glue while the silicon sealant is more like a gasket type sealant. Seems to be a big difference to me. I would never trust the silicon sealant as a glue for anything that has any type of shearing force applied to it. I have used it in fish tanks to seal glass or plastic together, but would never use it on a wet or drysuit.

Aquaseal is a lot less flexible than a silicone sealant. It also sticks things together forever and is almost impossible to remove from many surfaces.

The cure time is around 24 hours unless you use cotol 240 as an accellerater which will shorten the cure time to about 2 hours.

Thanks! That tells me everything I needed to know. :D
