And where did you see $500.00 for the Outlaw?

Outlaw - Aqua Lung US - Personal Aquatic Equipment for Recreational and Professional Use

$389.00 - that's probably with the small cell and there's dive shop mark ups +tax + shipping - when all is said and done, it's closer to 500 that it is to 400. I'm sure if an interested prospective buyer waits a year, he'll be able to get one for much less.

I don't see why you're interested anyway, I doubt you'll be seeing a lot of them in use in - where do you dive? South Dakota or something? :giggle:

Obviously this BCD is for warm water diving. While it does not offer anything ground breaking, there are a few things different vs what is already available. Who knows if it will sell enough to survive.

Either way, for things to evolve you do something different and see if it is an improvement or not. Or, we could just say what we have is already perfect and there is no reason to try to improve it. Where is the fun or evolution in that ?

................I think you're mostly paying 500.00 for the Aqua Lung logo embroidery (?)
Hey, it works for the big blue 'H' doesn't it? :)

@george_austin

Why are you so negative? Same price with either wing. You pay tax anywhere. You can pick it up at your LDS and avoid shipping. It just came out, you wouldn't see them yet. Looks like a fine travel BC at 4 pounds. Where do you dive, Los Angeles or something?

Good diving, Craig

I have a small DSS 17 lb wing. I am curious about the Outlaw BCD. I live in New York, but travel to dive warm water. Or something. :cool:

@george_austin................................. Where do you dive, Los Angeles or something?

Good diving, Craig

Actually my buddy who dove it in COZ is using it here (L.A.) with the 25# wing.

I USED IT! ok, so I used it in a OW pool session because the weight pouches were not available yet. They arrived at my shop today! It's Casino Point tomorrow to test drive the Outlaw. 25lb bladder with surelock weight system. I'll dive...24lb total with a steel 100 and the OMS drysuit. A little concerned about the lift for this configuration but hey...what could possibly go wrong? I'll write something in the afternoon to give my honest opinion. Here goes nothing!
