Is the MK19 whistling I've been reading about a real "issue" or just an anomaly?
Haven't heard of more than that one report...

A question, I dive Apeks FSR first stage and I don't want to have to change hose. "If" I bought a MK19 does anyone have any idea if I'd need a longer BC hose? I currently use a 16" corrugated with a 22" hose, it's a near perfect match length wise. Thank you.

if I am understanding you correctly you shouldn’t need a longer or shorter hose. It wouldn’t be any different if you went to an Apeks PST.

You will be understanding me correctly, was just wondering how much lower the lp ports sit on the MK19 as compared to an FSR which are pretty much inline with tank valve. LP ports on a DST sit lower.

@rsingler does the MK19 require any specialised tools? And do you know if there is any difference, other than price, between a service kit labelled MK17/MK19 and a new kit labelled just M19?

Shouldn't much matter mounted turret up or down. I thought it was the FSR angled takeoff that made it special for you. But it's almost at same level as the tank
