Yep, the Micra is a predecessor of the Micra ADJ.
The ones I've seen have a vane adjustment switch, just not a cracking pressure adjustment knob.
I have never liked the micra. True, I only have about 50 or so dives on them. It is light weight and small, though I think that may contribute to a bit more breathing resistance. Give me a Scubapro, Aqualung (other than Micra), or older Sherwoods any day. Aqualung makes fine regs, but I've never been impressed with this one. Personal opinion of course. Yes, $20 seems like a great price, but to me life is too short to dive a less than optimal reg (personal opinion). I want a reg that doesn't remind me that I'm breathing off a reg - that didn't happen for me with the micra.
