I am very interested in hearing your impressioons of Cocolobo. I've been to West End twice and it remains one of my very favorite places on earth. I've been watching Cocolobo's new website as well as the construction site and would love to know if it is a good place to stay. I stayed at Half Moon Bay Cabins once, which is a great location but a tired property in need of facelife and some attention from staff (last time I was there the staff continued to hit on my fiance even after she said no thanks). The Seagrape side of West End is unique from the main part of the town. It is a quieter but still close to town. The one downside I found with staying out east of Half Moon Bay is that after several days of three tanks dives and walking back and forth between dives to grab a nap or just relax got a bit old. Of course you do not have to to the walk between each dive. Anyway, would love to hear about Cocolobo on your return.

I am looking forward to the trip and to trying out Cocolobo. It was actually suggested to be by someone who lives in West End and watched it be constructed. I am sure that I will be doing the walk three or four times a day but I enjoy walking as long as the mosquitos don't launch an all out attack. I will post my impressions of Cocolobo and the dive shop after my return.
