April and spring breakers?

We have been in March and April the past several trips and not seen any "spring breakers". Of course, we are not downtown much as we are at SCC which is diver's only.
The worst thing we have seen was at Mezcalitos (other side of island next to nude beach entry). We were sitting there with our 14 yr old daughter and a group of cruise ship people came running out to the "NUDE BEACH" sign. One girl had the camera and the rest of the group (about 5-6 kids in 20s) ran out and pulled down their pants for a photo. Really. My poor daughter did nothing but laugh though luckily. What a view. They looked like idiots standing there with drawers down at their ankles next to a sign. That was the one and only time we ever saw any nudity on the island. We have heard that there at Mezcalitos and at Coconuts (also on that side of island) that girls who show their boobs get free drinks. Sorry, didn't hang around ever to see that.

Not to worry. Cozumel does not attract the spring break party crowd that you are referring to. Cozumel is not Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo, etc. Of course it is high season here in April and there are many families here for Spring Break - it is not the college party crowd. Cozumel is too calm for those seeking all night and day partying

On another forum a few years ago there was a posting by a young woman who had just gotten home from a trip to Cozumel exhorting someone, anyone, who was going to Cozumel to go to Coconuts and PLEASE remove some indiscreet pictures from the "family album" (and to PLEASE get the negatives!!!) that were taken of her after several margaritas and tequila shots. It seem her dad was planning a trip to Cozumel...Carlos is such a bad influence on you ....

AW shucks no spring breakers to watch????? That is best amusement in Myrtle Beach.... I guess I will just have to focus on underwater sights.

From personal experience.... I've traveled to Cozumel more than a few times during Spring Break. Only time I could plan something with the kids. Never had an issue on Cozumel. Playa is a different story, and I wouldn't go to Cancun during that time if you paid me! LOL
