Sounds great! I would love to just go out with someone who knows the area and check it out. It looks like my schedule has been postponed as far as Melbourne goes. I think I will be in the area in September or October though and I hope to keep in touch. For now, I landed in Sydney a couple of days ago and I will be either here or in Brisbane until May 22nd. Thanks for the note and I look forward to diving with you sometime.

Hey Puget,
Have fun!!

Trust me...If you can...pack your dry suit for Melbourne diving. If you are anything like me I haven't dived a wetsuit in years and used to diving dry. Nothing worse then reaching to your chest for an inflator and having your buddy snicker at you!!

Oh...and Sas and the gang are great! Couldn't ask for better divers/friends. I am itching to get back down there!

I did. I went out with Dive Centre Manly and did a couple of dives. One was their "shark dive". I couldn't believe my luck. As I was exploring around near the shark cave, I came across an Australian Giant Cuttlefish. I had read about them but never thought I would get to see one. And we spotted a weedy sea dragon, not to mention plenty of gray nurse sharks. I was truly blown away by the dives.
